David, the middleware application developed by SpecOps Labs, is now available. With David, you can now maximize the use of open-source software.
Linux is all about lowering your costs and improving your efficiency. By using Linux, you lower the probability of a virus attack and a system crash. Furthermore, it frees you from purchasing additional Microsoft Windows licenses.

DAVID is a “middleware” product, enabling users to run software designed for Windows on a Linux-based platform. DAVID operates as a translator, allowing familiar Windows-based applications to communicate seamlessly with a stable, inexpensive, secure Linux operating system. Once the set of modules comprising the DAVID software are installed on a computer, a user can now start installing Windows applications from their distribution media and run these applications as if they are running on a Windows computer. A Windows application can also be easily uninstalled if no longer needed on the computer.
DAVID uses a Windows application-capable common module (the DAVID engine) to operate with different plug-in modules (DAVID enablers) for every application. A file manager allows the user to easily install and use Windows-based applications on Linux operating systems.
The DAVID software can be deployed on a computer in a number of ways:
DAVID adds value by simplifying the installation, running, un-installation, and management of Windows applications on a computer with Linux installed. In addition, through its innovative hybrid architecture, it provides higher compatibility without sacrificing performance when compared to existing products in the market. A Windows application running on Linux can perform better because of the stability, reliability, robustness, security, and scalability of the Linux OS.

Link Linux now offers setup service of Windows Compatible workstations for call center operators.
